Imperial jade is a gemstone with an intense green color and a long history in Asia, where it has been revered for centuries as the royal gem, or “yu.” It was a symbol of wealth and power. Leaders also used jade in rituals. Jade is said to bless whatever it touches, serving mankind across the globe for nearly 6,000 years.
